Nordic Game Program support

Old SOFE-students, Blackdrop Studios, are supported by Nordic Game Program

After receiving the grand prize for Bacteria at Game Concept Challenge in 2007, some of the members of the winning team went on to join the GamePort Incubator. During the time at GamePort the team developed the platform/racing game Boingo, which was the only game to receive two awards at the Swedish Game Awards in spring 2008. During summer 2008, Black Drop Studios was founded and the first commercial product was developed for a third party. The next stop on the road to success occurred in november 2008 when Boingo was granted development funding by the Nordic Game Program.
